RMAFC uncovers errors in states’ implementation of remuneration packages

 

The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has identified errors in how state and local governments implement the remuneration reports for political, public, and judicial officeholders.

Former presidential media aide Reno Omokri has accused ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai of spreading misinformation about the Tinubu administration’s security efforts in Kaduna. 

Omokri alleged that El-Rufai is frustrated because he can no longer remotely control his successor, Governor Uba Sani, or influence the state’s governance.

First Lady inaugurates Renewed Hope Initiative Young Farmers Club in Oyo

 

The wife of Nigeria’s president, Oluremi Tinubu, on Thursday 27, inaugurated Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Young Farmers Club in Oyo state.

The program, which was in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, was dedicated to empowering young people with tools and knowledge in farming.

One killed, several injured in NAF personnel-civilian clash in Kaduna

 

One personnel member died, and an unidentified number of civilians were wounded in a clash that erupted between some civilians and personnel of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Kaduna.

NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Vice Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday.

He said the clash occurred on Wednesday, February 26, at Unguwan Gangare, Barakallahu, Kaduna State, but didn’t give details of what led to the clash.
