Onilogbo Confers Chieftaincy Titles On 5 American Missionaries









His Royal Majesty Oba Barrister Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele, Onilogbo of Ilogbo on Thursday 20th, June 2025, conferred traditional chieftaincy titles on five American missionaries in recognition of their selfless services to God and humanity through life Builders Ministeries' Outreaches over the years within the jurisdiction of coverage of the facility across the nation, including 1, Igbusi, Ilogbo as a non-profit making organization, who is committed to caring for the orphans, widows, less privileged and the vulnerable members of the society.



The amiable men and women Christian Missionaries and scholars are; Tony and Katie Losinger honoured as Atomose and Yeye Atomose of Ilogbo land, Tim and Danae Handorf badge the  chieftaincy titles of Gbomoniyi and Yeye Gbomoniyi of Ilogbo land. Sandy Jacobs, who is popularly known and widely addressed as "Mama Sandy" honoured with the chieftaincy titles 'Iya Ewe of Ilogbo land'.


His Royal Highness expressed his delight in conferring the titles, by virtue of the positive impact the missionaries had had on the community.

Oba Ojugbele praised Pastor Dr. Emmanuel and Deaconess Blessings Oluwayemi, founders of Life Builders Ministry International, for being instrumental to rapid development witnessed in the community.

Pastor Dr. Emmanuel Oluwayemi, in his speech expressed gratitude to the monarch, stating that the honor is a testament to the missionaries' selfless commitment to caring for orphans, widows, and vulnerable individuals in the society"

The founder of Life Builders Ministry International further stated that "consequent upon their immense contributions, His Royal Majesty, The Onilogbo of Ilogbo Kingdom being impressed, deemed it laudable to immortalize these  undeterred personalities with titular commendations as this remains a vital medium of appreciating an overwhelming impressive that work or act in an African community or society just as exemplified here today. As we already know that chieftaincy is an important indigenous institution within the modern state system.

Pastor Dr Emmanuel concluded with the famous quote from the words of Pope Francis of blessed memory:
Rivers do not drink their own water,
Trees do not eat their own food,
The sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves.
Living for others is a rule of nature.
We are all born to help each other, no matter how difficult it is
Life is good when you are happy but much better when others are happy because of you"
