Ex-LASU Bursar Bajomo dies at 78

 Lagos State UniversityFormer Bursar of  Lagos State University, Ojo, Mrs Olayemi Bajomo (Nee Harrison), has died at 78.

Born on January 15, 1947, she died on March 28. There will be tributes on April 30 at 4pm, followed by a Wake at 5pm.

Funeral service will hold on May 1 at First African Church, 5 Oyingbo Road, Ebute Meta.

 

A chartered accountant, Mrs. Bajomo, an MBA holder, attended the Ago Ijaiye Primary School, Ebute Meta and Methodist Girls High School, Yaba.

After obtaining a National Diploma in Accountancy from Yaba College of Technology, she secured a job at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, before joining Nigerian Institute for Medical Research (NIMR), Yaba.

She joined Lagos State University in 1983, and rose to Bursar in November 2000, retiring in 2005.
