The Enthronement of the second Diocesan Bishop of Awori Diocese has been fixed for September 18th, 2026 at the Cathedral Church of St James, Ipate Oyinbo, Ota, Ogun State.
The Rt. Revd. Dr. OLAYEMI OLUSOLA TALABI FATUSI was elected on July 16 2026 and Consecrated on Tuesday, 15th of September 2026 at Our Saviour Anglican Church, Ikenne-Remo in Remo Diocese.
The Enthronement service will come up at exactly 11.00am.
According to the release from the Chancellor of the Diocese, Barr. Abosede Bola Olabisi, the Co-Chairman of the Consecration and Enthronement Committee said all efforts have been put in place to host the Nigeria Church fathers and other noble guests on that day.
"This is to invite the general public and especially the people of Awori Diocese and her environs to the Enthronement of our Second Diocesan Bishop, the Rt Revd. Dr. OLAYEMI OLUSOLA TALABI FATUSI, an Awori Indigene, a church evangelist and church planter", she said.
Bishop Fatusi is succeeding the pioneer Bishop of the Diocese, the RT REVD DR JOHNSON AKINWAMIDE ATERE (RTD).
